Academics

The Delta Rho Chapter of Delta Delta Delta at the University of Kentucky values the academic development of each of its members. Delta Rho members take advantage of our chapter house and a variety of on-campus resources to ensure their academic success. New Members of Delta Rho have the opportunity to utilize tutoring services provided by older members in order for them to succeed in their classes. 

Tri Delta's major in all different areas of study including Biology, Equine Science, Accounting, Dietetics, Chemistry, Nursing, Engineering, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Political Science, Communications, Education, Communication Disorders, Math, Journalism, Psychology, Sociology, Foreign Language, among others.

Delta Rho has recognized the importance of internships and furthering their education. Delta Rho sisters have interned in a variety of cities including Chicago, Cincinnati, New York City, Atlanta, and Lexington among others. Members have also gotten the opportunity to study abroad and form connections overseas in places like Europe, South Africa, South America, Australia, Canada, and Mexico. 

This past year, our chapter had a great deal of academic success. Members stayed focused on their school work by logging study hours, studying with sisters, and utilizing campus resources. After the 2020 fall semester, Delta Rho held a GPA of 3.6 and was ranked 2nd out of 15 Panhellenic sororities on the University of Kentucky’s campus. We are overjoyed about our success and we are looking forward to improving our academic success in the upcoming semesters. 

On top of the chapter’s recognition, individual sisters have received academic honors. The honors that sisters were awarded include acceptance into pharmacy school, a variety of master's programs, and nursing school. We also had our seniors part ways and accept full time positions at their dream jobs. 

Delta Delta Delta has always strived to create well-rounded women. Excellence in and out of the classroom has taught members to achieve greatness for both the chapter and themselves. Delta Rho is a group of motivated and educated young women who will only continue to grow in the future.
